Team Emirates in Command

Dubai, UAE, 23 February 2018:  Cambridge ME Interiors started the day well by taking pole position and leading the opening laps of the race, but after six hours and 282 laps, the team has tumbled down the grid order, allowing Bin Drai Karting Team, Dubai Falcon Racing Team and Team Emirates to take advantage midway through 12 hours of racing at the opening round of the 2018 Dubai Kartdrome Endurance Championship.

At mid-race Team Emirates had the front-runner spot, just ahead of Bin Drai Karting Team and Dubai Falcon Racing Team.  Both Bin Drai and Dubai Falcon have an extra pit stop in hand, and the two teams should be in contention for the overall win.

Bin Drai Karting Team of Portugal is also in great position for the Nations Cup, taking a sizeable two laps lead over LD Russia.
