NGK Spark Plugs Middle East Renews Support for UAE Motorsport

Dubai, UAE, 4 November 2019:  NGK Spark Plugs Middle East has reaffirmed that its commitment to motorsport in the region continues to be a high priority as the company now embarks on its ninth season of dedicated partnership with Dubai Autodrome and the local racing community.

New for the 2019-2020 race season, NGK Spark Plugs Middle East and Dubai Autodrome inaugurated the NGK UAE ProCar Championship, expanding the previous Touring Car series to include GT and Prototype classes in the same grid.

Managing Director of NGK Spark Plugs Middle East Mr.Yoshihiro Goto said, “Our unwavering support for UAE motorsport demonstrates the importance of local racing for our brand.  We are thrilled to promote the new NGK UAE ProCar Championship this season.”

Director of NGK Spark Plugs Middle East/Africa/Eurasia Aftermarket EMEA Mr.Tufan Baysal added, “Steadfast partnerships in local racing are essential to our business in the region.  After nine seasons of patronage, our commitment to UAE motorsport is stronger than ever before.”

Dubai Autodrome General Manager Faisal Al Sahlawi said, “The support and enthusiasm of NGK Spark Plugs Middle East has been a tremendous boost for local motorsport over the years.  We welcome NGK back for another exciting season of racing.”
