Dubai, UAE, 14 October 2019: The popular NGK Touring Car Championship has now expanded to include GT and Prototype classes in the same grid, and the new mixed series will be designated the NGK UAE ProCar Championship for the 2019-2020 race season, with races held at Dubai Autodrome and Yas Marina Circuit.
Now in its ninth season of partnership with Dubai Autodrome, NGK Spark Plugs Middle East has reaffirmed its commitment to the local motorsport community as title partner for the new race series.

Billed as, “a spectacular mix of high-performance GT cars, high-aerodynamic prototypes and highly competitive touring cars”, the newly expanded ProCar series will offer drivers a wide range of vehicle types within four main categories: GT3, GT4, Prototype and Touring Car.
An exciting line-up of race machinery will assemble on one grid, with eligible vehicle types including popular tin tops like Ferrari 488 GT3, Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo, Mercedes AMG GT4, Porsche 718 Cayman or GT4 Clubsport, BMW M4 GT4, Ligier JSP4, Revolution A-One, Renault Clio Cup, Toyota TRD86 Cup and a variety of TCR Cars.
NGK UAE ProCar Championship Manager Dominic Simon explained, “Our aim is to offer a platform for both professional race teams to get quality track time during the winter and grassroots motorsport running production-based cars, by organizing a professional and affordable entry level championship.”
In addition to the expanded classes available to drivers, a new selection of prizes will be on offer, courtesy of Capital Club Dubai. Every NGK UAE ProCar entrant will receive a trial membership to the UAE’s leading business and social club, Capital Club Dubai. Selected race winners will earn bonus credit vouchers to use at the Capital Club Dubai facilities in DIFC.
