Endurance Championship RD4: Preview

Dubai, UAE, 12 December 2018:  Pedja Jakovljevic. Duarte Lopes, Andre Caido and Miguel Neto of Bin Drai Karting Team can guarantee their first Pro Championship title in the fourth and final round of the Dubai Kartdrome Endurance Championship this weekend (14-15 December) if they can place in the top three of the 24-hour karting endurance race.

Bin Drai Karting Team has gone three-for-three in wins this year to maintain its lead in the Pro Championship with a total of 120 points.  Emirates PRO, on 99 points, and Dubai Falcon Racing Team, with 97 points, both have a great challenge to try and catch Bin Drai in the final round.

Dmitry Levin, Konstantin Mandrikov, Victor Agafanov and Marat Gubaidullin of LD Russia will be making the long flight to Dubai to defend their lead in both the Corporate Championship and the Nations Cup.

The Russian drivers will have to bring their best game with them as the defending Corporate Champion, Team Emirates, has plenty of experience and knows exactly what it takes to win the season.

LD Russia has a narrow lead in the Corporate Championship with a total of 110 points, just four points clear of Team Emirates on 106 points.  Both teams could take it all in the final 24-hour round.  Another Emirates squad, Fly Emirates, is mathematically in contention with 76 points, but most likely it will be looking to secure the third step of the podium over rivals Roland Berger on 66 points.

In the sub-category Nations Cup, for teams with drivers of the same nationality, the Russians are looking even better with LD Russia firmly in control with 115 points.  Prudent Motorsports India is in second-place on 80 points, while the Omani squad of Omantel Makasib 2 is pursuing in third position with 70 points.
