Dubai, UAE, 28 June 2020: In accordance with the latest changes in government health and safety measures, the motorsport venues of Dubai Autodrome and Dubai Kartdrome have rolled out enhanced activities for the public to enjoy.
The popular Roll Racing DXB, which takes drag racing off the streets and into a safe, controlled environment, returned to Dubai Autodrome on Friday (19 June), now upgraded as a “Drive-Thru” event, allowing drivers to stay in their cars from beginning to end of the track activities.
Formula DXB Max is a new single-seater experience, allowing drivers to experience the challenging 2.46-kilometre Club Circuit at Dubai Autodrome. Limited until the end of June, guests using the promo code #MAXPROMO while booking online will save 50% off the regular price.
The Dubai Kartdrome has also expanded its range of activities, including the new Drift Karting Club, which introduces specially-prepared Drift Karts on the outdoor circuit for the first time. Guests will enjoy the thrill of drifting karts sideways around corners of the track.
With age restrictions relaxed, younger drivers are now allowed back to Dubai Kartdrome, and on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays the indoor circuit welcomes all guests ages seven and up. The air-conditioned facility offers indoor karting, laser tag and sim racing.
List of activities currently available at Dubai Kartdrome:
Outdoor Kartdrome New World Karting (ages 13 & up)
Outdoor Kartdrome Drift Karting Club (ages 13 & up)
Outdoor Kartdrome Iron Man Practice Sessions (ages 13 & up)
Outdoor Kartdrome Kart Owner Sessions (ages 13 & up)
Indoor Karting (ages 7 & up)

RaceRoom Sim Racing (ages 7 & up)

All new activities have been designed with enhanced customer journeys, which include: online-only booking, customer flow-paths that ensure guests do not cross paths during the activity journey, signage and floor markings to maintain social distance, disposable gloves and balaclavas, hand sanitiser stations, temperature check stations, helmets that have been sterilized using medical-grade sanitising equipment (the same as used in UAE hospitals) and race suits that are continuously laundry-sanitised.
The cleaned and disinfected helmets and race suits are wrapped in plastic exclusively for each guest, ensuring that they are receiving fresh race gear for their experience.
More exciting activities are planned for the coming months, including Track Days for Motorcycles, Drift DXB, Driving Experiences and Sodi World Series (SWS) karting sprint races.
